Today is day three of my adventure. I am loving posting everyday so far because it helps me to see how good my day has been all in one place. It also gives me an excuse to use my awesome camera more often and take photos of my friends, when they usually wouldn't want me too. Today was filled with more fun times so I hope you enjoy reading
But before we begin the new word for today is Redolent which can mean strongly reminiscent or suggestive, fragrant or sweet smelling.
I had nothing planned for this day except as I mentioned I had my first day back at work. The time passed quickly and it was nice to catch up with some of my work friends that I hadn't seen in a while. I also got out just after midday with most of the day still waiting. With the day still young I still have no where to be. But I did however have a strong urge to cook this day. I really enjoy cooking, I enjoy it as a hobby and as a way to relax. So I set out to get some supplies.
I also bought this super vibrant daffodil plant. It gives me joy. I all of a sudden decided just after I bought my first orchid that I need to be surrounded with greenery, I guess I just fell in love with plant life. With the now huge urge to fill my house with plants, I am always eager to add more to my collection. So this is the newest addition to my small (for now) collection of house plants.
Now with a new beautiful plant and baking supplies it was time to cook. Now Nicholas (My boyfriend) had to study for his exam that was tomorrow. In my opinion there is no better study food that cookies, so cookies were made regardless of how much studying actually went down. I guess you just don't really need an excuse to eat cookies or to bake cookies for that matter. I love the redolent smell of cookies filling up my house and you know what they say, You are what you eat and I personally would love to be a cookie. So with freshly baked warm cookies I decided they obviously go hand in hand with more tea. This is a new variety of tea, it is super sweet and yummy I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Yukie didn't even break the peel! She was peeling with a knife, I might add. |
This is a beautiful masterpiece they made together from there creations. |
Now today just felt like a cooking kind of day and I have an undeniable love for Mexican food. which I spoke about in yesterdays post. So naturally putting two and two together I made enchiladas for dinner. When we first moved into our house here we made them all the time and I don't really know why we stopped. But don't worry because enchiladas and I are reunited once more.
This is the end of my once again awesome fun filled day. I hope you enjoyed reading my blog post. I really appreciate people being interested in my life. These three days have been fun and I hope to continue doing daily blogs for a while to come. Thanks again, hopefully I'll see you back here tomorrow. Love
