So today's word is elysian which means for something to be beautiful or divinely inspired or compared to a heaven.
So my day goes.
It started with a sleep in. Which is always a nice way to start a holiday. Nicholas mother Sonia, whom you may remember from a previous post made us some tasty avocado on toast and I had a beautiful new flavor of tea that I have never tried before.
Daniel and I had also gone to the beach earlier in the day. For some reason I decided not to do this post in chronological order. But we took some photos of the beach that I spent many years visiting. This beach is filled with fond memories and I am sure there are many more to come in the future that involve this beautiful beach.
Here are some photos of a place that I feel such a connection with.
Now the elysian beach is definitely my idea of a beautiful place. I feel a strong sense of peacefulness whenever I am there. Which was a nice start to this very long day.
Although the drive was long we had a party in the car with music and snacks and people falling in and out of sleep. (except Daniel because he was the driver) It was one of the better and least boring car rides I have been on.
We arrived in Newcastle around 10pm and I went to sleep pretty well straight away ready for a fun filled holiday.
So I posted twice today because I am trying to catch up with my posts. I don't want to leave out days because I love documenting my life. So I hope you are still enjoying my posts and that you will continue to join me on my journey through life. Hopefully I will have some awesome holiday posts for you to look at.
Much love to you all xx
