November Adventure Day 6 (Vietnam) 6-11-2015 Mekong Delta, Relaxing day.

Hello again, and thanks again for all the wonderful support on my previous post. It was really meaningful to me that so many people were touched by it. Many of you displayed concern about how I am going and I want to let you all know that I have been gradually feeling better over these past two days and am feeling really great at the moment. So thank you for all the kind words.
This day is really short but tomorrow will be filled with many many things. I had originally planned on putting the two days together but then it became too long. So without any further rambling lets get into it.

So today began with an earlier rising than I would have liked. But a lovely breakfast to make up for it. Today we made our way from Saigon city to a small village on the Mekong Delta called Ben Tre.
So it was good bye to the busy street of Saigon (for now).

We had our last breakfast with the Beautiful Saigon hotel III. The staff at the hotel and the staff were both lovely and I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay if anyone was looking at visiting the lovely city of Saigon.

We took a bus from Saigon to Mekong Delta and I slept most of the way as usual. I listen to music pretty much constantly and my favorite song at the moment it Carry On - Fun. If you haven't listened to it, you should. Or if you have, listen it it again. If you want to.
So the bus journey rainy yet uneventful and after a morning of travel we arrived at our destination Mango Cruises. It is a beautiful resort style villa.

After arrival and a little bit of lunch and lounging around we headed down to the riverside to sit and watch the boats go past and have a nice drink before happy hour ended.

There was also this cute little rooster that I wanted to add in. He was in isolation because he was fighting with the others. Moral of this story if don't fight or you may have an upturned basket put over you.

So here are some of the shots I took down by the river. I have decided that I am going to caption some of the shots from now on to explain what is going on in them. So I hope you enjoy.

A local man getting jumping fish out of the catchment to sell at the local markets

A cute dog walking along at low tide we were all a bit worried he might get bogged in the deep mud, but he made it safely.

The fluffy clouds were in the way of our beautiful sunset. But at least the clouds were cute.

A man paddling a long with a stick instead of an actual paddle. Looked like hard work!

After a lovely evening by the river and some dinner we retired to our rooms for the night. I had a beautiful conversation with one of my friends and had a very relaxing night.

Sorry this post wasn't very full. Tomorrow's one is probably the longest blog I have ever made So I think that will make up for it (hopefully).
Thanks for reading much love and appreciation to all of you who keep reading and supporting me in my blog.
Be sure to tune in tomorrow for my favorite day of travel so far.
