Day #1 19-06-2015 Roller Skating, Ice-cream and a Trip to the Park. Blogging Everyday

Hi everybody! Exciting news!

I have decided to take on a personal challenge here on my blog and make a post every single day! I am excited to document my life as I adventure and explore what I love about my life. I really want to do this for myself, so I can look back on the awesome days in my life, but I also want to do it for my audience. Hopefully I will inspire people to try new things, or be spontaneous and see the positive in their lives. To post everyday is going to be a gigantuous challenge, I will definitely miss occasional days. But I am going to give it a shot. I also have no idea what in particular I am going to write about, so just buckle yourself in because I am just as unsure of what's to come as you are. Another challenge I have set myself lately is to try and learn a new word everyday so I feel like I should post that here as well since this is a daily blog and it fits I am going to try and make them relevant so I can use them in my blog posts.

New word of the day is incipient which means in the beginning or early stages of something.

So here is Day #1 of me blogging everyday.

I have been having a break for work lately so as all my days lately it began with a sleep in :) Something you will learn about me throughout this journey, if you don't already know, is that I have a rapidly growing obsession with tea. So like most of my other days it started with a cup of tea and a
good book. In my personal opinion this is how all good days start.

I have been drinking this Celestial Sleepytime tea with vanilla in it. I know I wasn't exactly going to sleep since I had just woken up, but I don't see why packaging should be the boss of what time I should drink my tea. I love this tea at the moment it's sweet and full of flavor and it's my favorite currently. Another favorite thing of mine is this book by John Green, after I read his best seller The fault in our stars I was pretty hooked on his writing style and I bought a bunch of his books, this one included. This is by far my favorite of them. I am really loving it! It's really quirky and interesting.

So a great start to the day can only mean one thing.... feeling motivated to have a good rest of the day too. So me and Nicholas (My boyfriend for those of you who don't know) decided to go to Roma Street Parklands. I really love visiting the park and it was a beautiful day today. I also happen to be learning how to roller skate, so naturally I skated to the park, with some difficulty.

So as you can probably tell from the photos I am not the best on roller skates. This is because learning to roller skate is still incipient. ( See how I used my new word) I am significantly better than the first time I tried it, so hopefully my skills will keep developing and I become some sort of master. I skated around the park and Nic helped to pull me up the hills. We got a sufficient intake of vitamin D, I fell over once, and we ate some super tasty ice-cream.

I spent the rest of my day rather uneventfully with a walk to the supermarket, some more reading of my excellent book and listening to lots and lots of music. Another thing about me, I am constantly listening to music, from when I wake up and start getting ready in the morning to when I decide to go to sleep.

So all in all today was a excellent day. I hope you enjoyed reading about my day today and I also hope that you come back everyday to see what I am up to. I am thinking about giving a name to this series, but I don't really have many ideas so just bear with me for the time being and I will come up with something. Thank you for reading x
